New SCHEUERLE-KAMAG K22 in use at Hövelmann & Böckenholt
The well-known haulage contractor, Hövelmann & Böckenholt, recently purchased 14 axle lines of the new SCHEUERLE-KAMAG K22. Since delivery in October 2010, numerous transport operations have been successfully carried out with the new road vehicles whose concept is based on the joint development platform of the TII Group.

A 95 t transmission unit for a dredger in the Netherlands on ten K22 axle lines. The complete load was positioned on a 1.75 m supporting surface. For the 40 km transportation assignment from Hattingen to Gelsenkirchen, an approx. 1.5 km long stopping restriction zone had to be organised as well as having to shorten a motorway roadworks by around 500 metres. The total combination weighed 145 t and was pulled by a MAN 41.540.
Twelve K22 axles lines, complete with a flat bed deck coupled in-between, transporting a 9 m long, 4 m wide, 4 m high and 86 t power station component from Mülheim an der Ruhr to Haiger, a distance of 170 km. The 35 m long total combination weighed 155 t and was pulled by a MAN 41.540.
The K22 is the ideal means of transport if platform height and weight are the decisive criteria for your transportation task. Low, broad, high load-capacity and extraordinarily flexible: these are the important features of the new K22 series which ultimately convinced the Dinslaken-based hauliers Hövelmann & Böckenholt to purchase a transport combination. This consists of fourteen KAMAG K22 axle lines, gooseneck and a flat bed deck.
Whether it is a ship´s transmission system, power plant components or oversized transportation crates, the K22 series provides Hövelmann & Böckenholt with an optimal and very flexible transport combination. In spite of being directly loaded onto the platform trailer, exceptionally high transport goods can be driven under, for example, bridges or high voltage power lines without any problem. The modern pendulum axle technology with a steering angle up to 60 degrees turns even the longest combination into a flexible heavy goods unit. The ingenious modular system also offers an array of options for configuring of corresponding vehicle combinations. The K22 series provides high flexibility, not just in combination with single platform trailers but also for configurations with a gooseneck or different decks.
