The TowBear TT aircraft tow tractor has been developed for use at airports to move aircraft on the ground and it can also be used for pushback and towings. This latest generation of conventional aircraft tractors has been developed in very close coperation with experts from the airlines, ground handling companies and service personnel.  

Variable Ballast System
The dead weight of the TowBear TT can be changed by using a forklift. The ballast weights are located on top and inside of the tractors and allow an easy and quick adaption of the tractor weight to individual requirements, geographic climatic conditions, or the present aircraft mix that has to be handled.

The consequent use of the variable ballast system (for example for summer and winter use) cuts down the operational and maintenance costs, as the wear and tear of the drive system, tyres and axles, as well as the fuel consumption are reduced.

• Front axle equipped with a centrally-arranged sight tunnel. This gives the driver a direct view to the rear, even if the cab is lowered.
