Quicker transfer of material, compactness and minimum ground pressure are the requirements, which could not be or could only partially be met by a conventional coil loader. The KAMAG coil transporter, however, combines all these important characteristics.

The vehicle is available in the following basic designs:

• Lifting pin with small lifting height between the wheels: as handling unit between plant production areas.
• Lifting pin with greater lifting height positioned in front of the wheels: for stacking, loading and unloading of wagons, trucks etc.
• Lifting pin with greater lifting height, horizontally moveable: for stacking, loading and unloading; additionally pin shifting mechanism for optimizing the position of the load´s centre of gravity for longer journeys.
• Inductive-controlled: the Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) as a connecting link between the various production areas.
